We take care of the paperwork

  • Title transfer: we show you where to sign your title (the "pink slip") and complete the DMV transfer.
  • Release of liability: California requires the seller to report the sale to the DMV within 5 days with a Notice of Transfer and Release of Liability. We make sure it is filed before you leave, so tickets, tolls and accidents after the sale are not on you.
  • Loan payoff: if a bank or finance company holds your title, we pay them directly and get the title released.
  • Smog: you do not need to get a smog check before you sell to us.
